Robertino is a Filipino-Australian animation director and designer based in Sydney.
In 2013 he founded a boutique studio practice KAPWA Studioworks as an outlet to create films, commercial work, and to launch miscellaneous crackpot schemes.
His film work includes an animated short Love in the Time of March Madness and The Science of Stage Fright for TED. His film work has won some awards including Best Online Short at the Tribeca Film Festival, a nomination for Best Short Animation at the AFI/AACTA Awards, and Official Selection at the Annecy Animation Festival.
Robertino has also worked in digital advertising in Sydney and New York with agencies including M&C Saatchi, Soap Creative and R/GA for clients including Google, Nike, Verizon, Telstra and Beats by Dr Dre. His advertising work has won multiple Cannes Lions.
